This thing was easy to assemble. It took maybe 30 minutes, and we had to deal with a dog during, so it'll probably be shorter for you. The legs are sturdy solid metal. The legs that you use when you have is laying out can be hidden when it's in the upright position. When up the back rest is very comfortable. The seats are as well. Can't feel the frame at all. There's even a little skirt thing to make it look a bit cleaner. When down it's just as nice, feels just as nice. It's not huge, more for like average man or smaller, I'd say around 6' and under would fit nicely. Color is wonderful, doesn't show marks or tear easily. No spills or messes yet but the fabric seems like it would clean up easy without a mark. Just as a whole, this thing isn't super big. We live in a studio apartment, so the living room is small, and this barely takes up any room. I feel like it's gauged more toward freshly moved out adults or dorm rooms or spare rooms. Though it does work perfectly fine in the living room

as the ol saying goes. "You get what you pay for" so it definitely has been made with pressed wood, it has pre drilled holes thear don't quite all line up the way they should but you can get them lined up with some elbow greese. you absolutely need 2 people, not so much due to weight but rather some difficult angles and small spaces ... its not really hard to assemble but it was time consuming...if you can take advantage of Angie assemble service, O would recommend that just because it can get frustrating at times and sometimes several attempts before you get it ...but with. that said...i wasn't expecting nor really wanted something to look at but not touch ..i wanted something that looks nice, not real flashy but not last century either, but that my grandbabies can pkay on, run around it playing duck duck goose, spill something on it..😱 but also comfortable for my older guests to sit on when visiting and also provide comfort and easy relaxation and of course Easy to clean...rhat a lot to ask of one little futon...but it does all that and then some. so i think for everything it offers and under $100 your getting more than you paid for.. so if your looking for elegance or magazine model, yoy won't find that with this, but if your home isnt white glove perfect but more casual with lots of different activities being done giving it more of the "lived in"look ...this is perfect for you. my family and I have enjoyed it, i think yours will too! ciao~✌️
