Terra & Sky Women's Plus Smocked Cotton Midi Dress with Short Puff Sleeves, Sizes- 0X-5X

Love, love, love this dress! Ok, so I picked of 2 of this same style Terra %26 Sky dress from the spring line and have worn the heck of them in 100 degree weather all summer. Like, I wore (and washed) them both once or twice a week and they still look brand new. They are my favorite dresses I have ever owned, and I am definitely a dress girly. Anyway, I am going to do a bit of a comparison between this version and the ones from the sprint line. I jumped online and purchased 2 of this version after running into someone in a different store wearing the brown one. I asked her if it was Terra %26 Sky and knew I had to have more of this dress. Anyway, I ordered it in the navy print and in green just to make sure it was the same dress and for the most part it is. I love the print and the green is beautiful. The green is somewhere between emerald and kelly. Ok, now for the comparison. This version has springier elastic than one in the spring line, but still has plenty of room. Both versions run a little big and would say most people can wear a size down from their norm. However, the elastic will snatch it to the proper size if you order your true size. I wear a size 20 and the 2x is perfect. I started the summer in a size 24 and the 2x was still perfect. The spring version had a tie collar, slightly longer sleeves, and a different pocket. The pockets in this version are not bad, but I really hope they bring back the other style pocket if they continue using this pattern (which I really hope they do) in the future. The sleeve on this version hits just above the elbow. I have included images so you can see some of these comparisons. I ordered 2 hoping for the same dress as in the spring line, and Terra %26 Sky did not disappoint. I will be ordering all of the other colors. This dress is lightweight cotton and perfect for a summer day. It's fun enough for a day in the park, but professional enough to wear to work. It does not shrink when laundried, I have washed and dried all of the way. It looks great straight out of drier and does not wrinkle easily. I have a family of 7, so there is no time for any articles to get special treatment in my house.
