The material is thicker which is nice and soft. It does not cling to your tummy area. I had to size up only for the length. You can tie it at the waist to make a bit smaller there. The only thing is, I wish the neck was a little bit more scooped. I hate things touching my throat. Sleeves are good length and go to the elbow. The 3x hits my knees which is perfect. The 2x hit above but I kept that one too. I am 5 ft 6.

The only problem I have with this dress is I sized up just in case, so mine is a bit large on me. Even though it's big it still looks good and it's comfortable. So you do not need to size up. It's true to size. It's super cute. I received a lot of compliments. I paired it with leggings the same color as the stripes.
