So pretty, but shorter than advertised

This dress is beautiful and flattering for hourglass shapes. Unfortunately for me, it's 2.5 inches shorter than advertised. I measured, and it's just under 36” long, not the 38.3” advertised. I'm extremely tall, and those 2” make the difference between being mini and showing my underwear when I slightly bend over. Sad! I really want this to work, so I may wear biker shorts underneath. I removed the tags before I realized how short it is, so I'm keeping it, either way. It'll be perfect if you're not over 6' like I am.

Super cute, but very thin material. See-thru! I appreciate that many garments from Terra and Sky are 100% cotton, but Lordy, I am too accustomed to some stretch in my clothes, and this has none.
