So great for getting up and down, reclining to comfortably sleep. My age made getting in and out of bed very difficult. This chair solved this issue. The battery backup put my mind at ease. Haven't had to use the battery yet but nice to know it's there for in case.

It is honestly not the best I've seen, but it is the best value for the money. I would never order because the shipper is awful. Be sure you look for that is shipped in this case by Walmart or in the other case by Amazon. It was not shipped at the time it was agreed to nor was it shipped as agreed. It was left outside my door and a condo on a catwalk. The size of the box blocked the catwalk. I alerted the building rep that this box was there and I was working on having someone come remove it. I would normally just open the box and bring the items in piece by piece as you must put the chair together. I just had spinal surgery so cannot bend lift or twist. I tried to communicate with the shipper but there is no way to call them. Very poor customer service by the shipper. Comment about the quality. Remember at the price it is excellent. But it is the smaller chair so will not be functional for either very tall or larger people. I'm very happy and I found this chair which I call a butt lift chair at the price for post spine surgery. Price is excellent. If you can see deal with the inconsistencies and lack of customer service from the shipper . I will not order when the shipper is involved again. just won't
