I'm a 73 yr old woman. Box was heavy so my friend and I opened it on patio. We carried the bottom, not so heavy with both of us carrying it, i to the house. We then opened plastics that container all pieces of recliner cushions, so they can expand. Then got instructions from box hidden in back of foot rest. (Had to cut little box apart to get rest of pieces.) Instructions make it all easy, just make sure to follow instructions, look for Codes, and follow illustration. (After 10 min, I saw I put long screw in wrong side, so I had to unscrew and switch.) I was able to put it together, on my own in approximately 3 1/2 hrs. only thing i don't like is, instead of having stick on side, easy for legs to go up and down, this has a plastic handle inside right side, between seat and arm. i liked stick cause u can bring leg part up, or down in seconds. My legs aren't that strong, so it's hard for me to force leg part down to lock! It pops up on me more times that I like.

I really love my brand new rocker recliner chair. It didn’t come with instructions in the boxes on how to assemble it, which was really upsetting. ;(;(. But then, I emailed the seller, jonpony, and I was able to get the instructions then. :):).
