This is perfect for what I needed. I had an abdominal surgery scheduled and using a recliner was highly suggested by other people who had same surgery. When I decided to get one I was running out of time (approx 10 days before surgery) some stores were reporting 4-6 months! I found this one on Walmart, estimated delivery in approx 5 days. I'm a procrastinator, and I went through all the reviews, compared other brands, but still came back to this one. I appreciated that it had massager and warmer built in and I couldn't beat the price! I was worried that being manual may be hard after surgery, but for approximately $250 I thought it was worth a shot! So glad I did, it arrived right on time, (arrived Monday and surgery was that Thursday) very easy to assemble and very comfortable! When I came home after surgery this was what I went to sit in. The foot release was easy, the heat and massage felt good after 5 days of hospital beds and chairs. Clicking the foot rest back in place was easier than I thought. Again, I'm very happy with this recliner!

The primary purpose of purchasing this product was to alleviate the recurring back issues and stiffness experienced by my elderly mother. Although the packaging appeared complex and was vacuum-sealed, assembling the device was effortless and took under 10 minutes. Following assembly, I plugged it in and was impressed by its lightweight yet robust design. My mother has found the product extremely comfortable and has been using it nonstop since I first introduced her to it.
