My doctor suggested a recliner with separate foot and back controls, THIS IS IT! I checked out the medical supply places and the price was between $600-$1000 and not covered by insurance. I found this chair and it is perfect. We had a problem with the instructions as to how the arms fit on the sides but after some switching it got together. I would recommend this chair to anyone that needs to elevate their legs when watching TV, other chairs , as you raise the feet the back goes down, this has a separate motor for each operation. The feet is independent of the back and the lifting is also independent. The best chair I have ordered and I tried two others before finding this one - would love to get another in a different color.

I didn't like that it took someone with tools to put the back on the chair. Was also disappointed that there was no assembly directions, had to scan the box and go online for those directions. But I do like the stability and ease of use of this chair. It is very stable to rise from, the foot rest is stable but short even for me(only 4' 11"). The three servo-motors are very quiet and move the chair smoothly in the direction needed.
