We've owned several countertop ice machines made by others. They generally start leaking from the bottom after a year or so and the ice is cubed, so not much in a batch. This one is the best, it has a plug underneath to drain water and clean the machine, and it makes LOTS OF CRUSHED ICE1

Great

This is the best purchase I have made in a very long time! It has ran non-stop since arriving and is able to keep up with my household of 5! I only wish the ice storage basket were bigger but I just dump it into a ziplock and place it in the freezer. We had ice within 10 minutes of filling it up and turning it on. 10/10 recommend!

I absolutely love this ice machine. I just wish I could have gotten it in a solid color instead of the red and silver. It is much quieter than my old ice maker. My favorite thing is that the ice lasts way longer than I expected. I thought it would melt quickly but it didn't. My whole family loves this thing!
