got this a few days ago. box was new and untampered with. easy set up. made sure i let it sit for 1 hour before plugging it in. noise is fine in fact quieter than my old ftidgidaire bullet ice maker. hopefully this gives me years of use. more ice is stored than i need which is nice

Absolutely love this icemaker! Yes, it makes some noise folks, after all it IS a mini refrigerator and freezer 🙄 . I followed all the easy to understand instructions and had ice within minutes. I waited a few weeks to see what the pros/cons were before this review and I just have no reasons to complain. One thing I happily discovered was using its' exhaust vent as a contertop dish dryer! This was a game changer for me and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! (plus, it makes me happy)
