One of the best and affordable ice machines!

Um don't think about it for even a second longer. BUY IT! It only does it make the most perfect little nugget ice, but the machine itself is so much quieter compared to other ones and so easy to keep clean. Not to mention once that thing gets going, it takes no time to push that ice out. It was absolutely worth every single penny, and I would buy it again.

Gave it a second chance. Glad I did. Don't ship it

I bought the first one of these and had it shipped and it died within about a month. I made sure that it was upright for a couple of days before I plugged it in just to be sure the refrigerant would have time to settle. It worked well until it burned up. It got returned. I really like the ice and the size of this machine, so I decided to try it again. I bought one in store and carried it at home making sure to keep it upright. this one has been going for many months and makes ice beautifully and has no issues whatsoever. I'm certain that shipping one and having it mailed and being tipped on its side or upside down is problematic for it. this little ice machine is a champ and I would absolutely buy it again and recommend it to anyone. Yes, it makes noise. The ice is worth it. It takes a very little counter space compared to any of the other nugget ice machines. I know because I've had them. It's very easy to clean and it's even easier when you get an ozone machine and you use ozone water to run through it regularly. It doesn't hurt the machine and it dissipates and is safe to eat the ice that comes out of it, and this way, there is no gunk that builds up in the machine. It's much better than having to take everything apart and clean it all the time. It just stays clean and disinfected. Highly recommended ice machine. Great value!

High pitch squeal and clanking

The ice is great, but the machine has a high-pitched squeal periodically and it sounds like something tries to break. There's no way to get to whatever that is that's doing it. Machine has been cleaned and it still does it. It gets worse and worse overtime. Too bad I can't post a video so you could hear it.
