Easy to use, must clean every week as directed, makes lost of tiny crust ice. If you are an ice eater like me and my grand kids. I can go through 2 gallons of water a day. Love this ice maker. I highly recommend it recommend this to anyone who likes ice. You can store your ice in your freezer.

Nice Ice Maker

This replaces another Frigidaire model that gave up the ghost. It ran most of the day, every day, for over 7 years. It was so good we went this one. I love that it cleans itself! When it's time, it just automatically cleans. It makes ice very quickly too. I love the nugget ice! I'm really happy with this machine.

VERY quiet, we like it a lot!

Noisy? What noise? Where are all these other reviewers coming up with that it's really noisy? This thing is quieter than a quiet fridge running. VERY VERY little noise, just hear the motor whirring a bit. The one we replaced was really really loud with motor sounds and ice making sounds. This one is super quiet. Easy setup, no issues at all, making first batch of ice as I speak. If anything changes I will edit the review, but for now we're very happy. Just to be safe I did buy the 3 year extended warranty, I almost never buy those because they are poor value, but something like this could likely go bad within that time, so safety cushion there.
