Choosing the right mug wrap size depends on the type and size of your mug or cup. Check the product description for compatible cup sizes (like 11oz, 16oz, or 20oz) before purchasing. If you’re using wraps for sublimation or decoration, make sure the wrap fits snugly around your mug without gaps. For sleeves meant for hot or cold drinks, look for adjustable or stretchable options if you use different cup sizes. Measuring your mug’s diameter and height can help you find the best fit for your needs.

Mug wraps and sleeves are designed to add insulation to your mug or cup. Many are made from materials like neoprene, silicone, or corrugated paper, which can help maintain your drink’s temperature for a bit longer. While they won’t replace a thermal mug, these wraps can reduce heat loss with hot drinks and slow down condensation with cold beverages. They also help protect your hands from extreme temperatures, making your drink more comfortable to hold.

Cleaning reusable mug sleeves is usually simple.

• Silicone and neoprene sleeves can often be rinsed with warm, soapy water and left to air dry.
• Some may be labeled as dishwasher safe, but always check the care instructions first.
• For fabric or foam sleeves, spot cleaning with mild detergent is recommended.

Whether a mug wrap is microwave-safe depends on the material. Paper and cardboard sleeves are generally safe for brief microwave use, but silicone or neoprene wraps may not be designed for microwave exposure. Always check the product’s care instructions before microwaving. If you’re unsure, it’s best to remove the wrap before heating your mug to avoid any damage or safety concerns.

For sublimation, mug wraps hold transfer paper tightly against your mug during the heat process.

1. Wrap the sublimation paper around your mug and secure it with the wrap or clamp.
2. Follow the instructions for your heat press or oven, as times and temperatures may vary.
3. After heating, let the mug cool before removing the wrap and paper.
