Lodge 5.5 Quart Ocean Enamel Cast Iron Dutch Oven

This Dutch oven is truly a beautiful piece of workmanship. I have another one just like this that I have had for about 15 years. That's why I purchased this one. I know it will last forever if I take care of it. I love to cook bacon in these Dutch ovens because it comes out exactly how I want it. If I have company, I cut a new package of bacon in half and throw it all into this pot. I turn heat up to medium high and stir it as it cooks. If I watch it cook, I can pull out the bacon for others that might not want it as crisp as I do. If you have several visitors or family, try cooking bacon this way.

This is a nice taller Dutch oven. I use them for the high temperature needed to bake sourdough. I have a larger and smaller one like this and love it. The enameled color is gorgeous. You can serve right out of the Dutch oven it's that classy.
