Lodge 7 Quart Emerald Enamel Cast Iron Dutch Oven

I have always wanted an enameled cast iron Dutch oven, and I am so glad I finally purchased this one. The 7-quart size is generous enough that I was able to comfortably cook about five pounds of beef short ribs. I loved being able to start the ribs on the stovetop and then move the entire pot directly into the oven. They cooked evenly for three hours and came out incredibly tender. The emerald enamel is beautiful, has not chipped, and still looks great after use. It is a heavy weight making it durable and great for heavy cooking on the stove or oven. I have seen no chipping of the enamel after using. This is a high-quality Dutch oven that was absolutely worth the purchase.
