Lodge 7 qt Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven with Loop Handles, Emerald

I have always wanted an enameled cast iron Dutch oven, and I am so glad I finally purchased this one. The 7-quart size is generous enough that I was able to comfortably cook about five pounds of beef short ribs. I loved being able to start the ribs on the stovetop and then move the entire pot directly into the oven. They cooked evenly for three hours and came out incredibly tender. The emerald enamel is beautiful, has not chipped, and still looks great after use. It is a heavy weight making it durable and great for heavy cooking on the stove or oven. I have seen no chipping of the enamel after using. Pros * Large 7-quart capacity * Easily moves from stovetop to oven * Cooks food evenly * Beautiful emerald enamel finish * Enamel has not chipped * Easy to clean * Holding up very well Cons * None so far Although it is dishwasher safe, I wash mine by hand because I want to protect the enamel and keep it looking beautiful for as long as possible. This is a high-quality Dutch oven that was absolutely worth the purchase.
