I can't express how much I love the Lodge cast iron ceramic cookware!! They cook evenly, no burning or sticking, can simmer, fry, bake, and store leftovers in the refrigerator, rewarm, and it's an easy clean up! I just love this set!! I have three different sizes and can't wait to get more pieces. 💗

LOVE Lodge Enamel Cast Iron 3 Quart Dutch Oven

Beautiful and functional item. Great to cook with and doesn't scratch my glass top stove. My mom had one like it when I was growing up and I always loved it. Like all cast iron it heats evenly. With the enamel coating on the inside you have no worries about cooking acidic foods. I love this. I searched the web for this item for several weeks . Wal-Mart has the cheapest prices of anywhere that I was able to find. On a side note I bought this as a ship to store item. They were great about letting me know with email and texts when to expect it and what to do to get it picked up without any hassle. It arrived on the day they said it would. So I really like this service as well.

Beautiful Pot

I own a Le Creuset, a Sur La Table braiser (styled after Staub), and regular Lodge Logic non-enamled cast iron pans. As far as heat retention and using less gas, I've found all to be equal. So in this respect, there is not much difference that I can tell. I wanted the Le Creuset 3.5 wide round, but at $150 compared to this 3 qt. Lodge at $39, I decided I'd try the Lodge with the hopes of saving money and having this size pot sooner rather than later. I am really glad I ordered this. It's a great size for reheating food on the stove, as well as cooking a smaller sized meal. For a family of 5, or if you like to make more food for left overs, you should also get at least a 6.5 and up dutch oven. I was impressed too with the quality control of the Lodge. I'm extremely picky about my kitchen items and this pot had no finish imperfections, which is beneficial for longevity. However, I will not kid myself in believing this pot will keep its enamel the way my Le Creuset will. I am not rough with enameled pots, but LC enamel is far superior--But at a superior cost! I don't want to wait for years or feel ultra guilty for wanting various sized enameled cast iron. So far, I'm very pleased with my Lodge; it's well made, attractive, and performs as it should.
