I ordered two of these storage boxes for the deck area--the oldest is 1.5 years as of March 2026 and still going strong. One is full of BBQ and gardening equipment. The other has bulky miscellaneous items that I want out of sight. These are excellent for the price. They provide a lot of storage space. They're neutral in color and look more expensive than they actually are. Assembly only takes about 15 minutes. My oldest box has been in the Texas sun for 1.5 years. Its struts, hinges, and overall condition are still perfect. Other than the price, I love how they keep everything inside bone dry. One minor issue: when the box is very full, the lid may catch on the forward edge and not close completely. Make sure the lid sits flush if you want full rainproofing. The walls are single-layered molded plastic and reinforced with lots of ribs. It's sturdy enough for a 180 lbs man to sit on top of; however the top is a few inches too high for long-term seating. I have about 100 lbs loaded in each box and they are still easy to slide around and reposition, if needed. The bottom will probably fall out if you try to pick it up with heavy items inside (though, I have not tried it), so don't do that. Definitely a recommended item!

Great deck box! The size is exactly what we were looking for and it seems to be really sturdy. The hinges are smooth in opening and closing. Putting it together is pretty easy, but we did need a rubber mallet to secure the bottom in. It just needs some heavy handling to make it fit together nicely. We're excited to keep all of our pool stuff in one place now.
