Nice, sturdy and good value.
Surprisingly nice for the price. Feels sturdy and was easy to put together by myself but two people would make the final parts easier. Base is sturdy, no rocking and the "wood" is thick and seems strong. Six shelves on each side and they can not be moved. Each shelf holds an average of 24-27 paperback novels or 16 hardcover novels (think Patricia Cromwell sized books). Shelves are right at 11" deep so even oversize books don't overhang. Box arrived late and damaged (it's very large and heavy) but everything inside was well packaged and the bookshelf itself had no damage.
