Treadmill

Just put it together by myself (very easy) and tried it out. Awesome!!! Cord is not that long so I had to use a heavy duty extension cord. I will contact company to make sure that is okay. I've never owned a treadmill before but this one is well made and definitely affordable (got it on sale)! Now I will contact company to get my two free gifts (headband - although I only plan on walking on it and most likely will not work up a sweat and a waist pack)! Hopefully I get many years out of this 🙏

Awesome

Very good. Love it. Not to heavy to move around. I was worried it wouldn't be able to handle my weight of 260 lbs and the handle bar would be too low for me since I'm 5'8. Thank God the handle bar was just right. The 280 lbs support also helped me decide for this one. It came with a flyer that said free water bottle holder and towel with proof of purchase. I sent my info thru email and Felicia Chen she was the one that answered. Very nice, kept me updated about my package. I received the water bottle holder and orange towel my favorite color. Best thing about the water bottle holder is that I unscrewed one screw and I was able to swivel my holder so it can be placed next to the treadmill phone/tablet holder and I won't need to take it off every time I put it away. I forgot to mention it comes with a remote control and remote holder that you can screw to your treadmill and just keep the remote there so you won't loose it if you don't need it. So that's why I'm giving them a 5 star review.

works well for walking, not for standing still

One reviewer said the beeper was too loud. The beeper is located in the motor housing section. I found you could simply cover the sound hole with a tiny bit of duck tape so it does not make the room echo as you press buttons. Another reviewer said that the belt would buckle. I found that it only buckles if you stop walking on it, and try to stand still while the motor is trying to turn the belt. The heavy duty models at gymnasium will work like a conveyor belt and transport you to the back of the machine, even if you to stand still, instead of continuing to walk. If you try to stand, your 340-lb bodyweight will simply pinch the belt, since the motor can only provide 270 pounds of tension. The belt is pre-lubricated from the factory with silicone. It is better to work with the machines design, and do not use it for standing still. Various Text referencing this specific model showed various weight capacities: 265, 300, 360. One of the lines said that it was tested and worked fine with a person, runnng, that was 6'3" tall and with weights between 300 and 360 pounds. Front foldable bar is not designed to hold your full bodyweight. It is more of a reference point and a convenient place to place controls. Thou needest to attempt to walk on the front half of the belt. If you are afraid of drifting to the back of the device, then you need to adjust the length of the, magnetic clip on safety lanyard that you hook onto your clothing. If you get too far back, it will pull the magnetic block off of the front handlebars to stop the machine. Since I live in a circa 1902 wood floor, upstairs apartment, I placed antivibration blocks under the 6 feet on top of a face down rug of appropriate size. I will attempt to position it over weight-bearing walls. If it bothers my downstairs neighbor. I do not plan on running on it. I will be happy with a 30 minute endurance walk.
