THe chair is wonderful in every way except that the gas piston (the rod w/ the handles that raises and lowers the whole chair) just fits into the base with not a lot security. It required pressure on the seat to press it down into the caster-base. The first few times it was sat in, it did not have enough pressure/weight to secure it (if it even does) into the base, which fell off when we picked up chair to move it over a small obstacle. -- it is okay on that now and has not fallen off again, but it did twice. -- Still, I think it is well worth the purchase, but the instructions at least should explain the gas-piston assembly much better. -- Other than that one thing, it is an excellent chair in all other ways and quite sturdy also. -- The back support and vibrating pillow are a god-send, the chair reclines to an almost lying down position too. Thank you.
