Maxi-Cosi Petra All-in-One Convertible Car Seat, Seascape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this convertible car seat that I was given to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel! My first impression was how nice and quality everything felt. The cushions and padding are very soft and the overall look is sleek. My son was very comfortable and happy riding in the seat and that's important to me! I'm not great at installing or putting together baby gear so I was very happy to see that everything was easy to install. It's helpful to have a level guide on the side to ensure it's installed correctly! I have used a rotating convertible car seat in the past, and while that has its own perks, I really liked that this was just one piece to install. It's easy to move from car to car, if necessary. I am using this car seat for my 16 month old and I love that it will grow with him for years! It feels and looks very safe and secure and makes me confident that we will get lots of use out of it. Overall, I am very happy with the Maxi Cosi convertible car seat and am excited to use it for years to come!

The car seat is relatively light for being a convertible car seat. The padding and seat feel relatively comfortable and both my 1 year old son and nephew had no complaints. Install was easy once i read the instructions haha. We did use it both rear and forward facing. I do like it forward facing more as it seemed more comfortable. Only downfall is rear facing in a Kia soul is hardddd the car is small for the size of this car seat so getting my son in and out was hard but when my nephew used if forward facing it was fine.
