Maxi-Cosi Mico Pro Infant Car Seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a first time mom and my non-negotiable for a car seat is that it is comfortable and quality. An aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean car seat is also a plus. Overall, I really like the Maxi Cosi Mico Pro Infant Car Seat. I think the seat was very comfortable. My daughter will let you know if she's uncomfortable, and she seemed very content in the seat. The material was soft and the neutral cream/ beige color looked luxurious. It also seemed overall easy to clean which is important in a car seat as babies are very messy. The installation process was easy. The car seat comes with a base that can latch into your car. Luckily, my car had a LATCH system that most cars have. After ensuring the base was on, putting the car seat on was as easy as one click. It was very easy to get in and out of the car and it was not heavy at all even with my daughter inside. I was able to carry it up a flight of stairs with her no issue as well. Adjusting a proper fit was easy with the directions. It was a bit difficult to figure out how to loosen the straps I wish it was more obvious. I had a hard time finding the button to hold to loosen them. Another issue was I had a hard time figuring out how to buckle my baby properly at first but it was because I still had the infant insert in as you can see in a photo. My daughter is a little big for it now. After I removed that, it was a great fit. Make sure to remove it if your child is over the weight limit. I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. However, I believe it is a good value and I would purchase it again for a future child if I needed to. Based on my experience, I may also purchase a Maxi Cosi booster seat when the time comes if I continue to like this. This is my first Maxi Cosi product but I believe the quality is great!
