Great for Kids' Room

The fabric is exactly as hoped. I wanted something similar to blue jean material because the sofa is going in my young grandkids' game room. I wasn't disappointed! This will be so much easier to keep clean and to vacuum pet hair off of and should be very comfy at naptime. So many of the others in my price range were "velvet fabric". Yuk!

For the price, I'm content with this futon. It was fairly easy to put together, but I did need a 2nd set of hands to put the pieces together. Only Wish it was a little more cushiony but otherwise it serves its purpose.

crap

pretty disappointed overall with this futon. first off I had to order two twin memory foam inserts just to make it tolerable. the fact that there was ample room in the cushions for this makes me wonder if this is a common issue. the fabric looks like denim and that is what drew it to me but it's a scratchy fabric and everything and I mean everything sticks to it. string, hair, fur, things you've only seen on your glass top table after a week without dusting, it's really crazy how it attracts everything and it's so hard to get the fabric to let go of it. I've tried the sticky lint rollers, the fabric ones, pet hair removal brushes that actual shave the fabric, tape, a wet cloth and the vacuum, I don't know what this fabric is but it sucks. if I keep it I'll prob buy a cover that is made of a more practical fabric for day to day use.
