Safety 1st Grow and Go Extend ‘N Ride LX All-in-One Infant & Toddler Convertible Car Seat, Winehouse

At the time of writing this review, my grandson is 6 month old and weighs 17 lbs. he loves this car seat and he's always hated the carriers. He likes the comfort and LOVES having the foot rest to kick against. I use it in the rear facing, reclined (%233) position with the footrest currently in the D position in the back seat of a Honda Civic 2-door coupe. I do have to sit in the back seat to get him in/out of the car seat but for me it is exponentially easier than working with a carrier. I am excited to continue using this car seat as he grows. There is removable padding and the straps were extremely easy to adjust (important for a grandma).

got it on a sweet black Friday deal for $99. I was just looking at this one in the store last week at full price and it's the one I wanted for baby boy that's 12 months and grew out of the baby basket seat. the Graco seat and stroller set says good til 35 pounds but his head is up over the top now, which obviously isn't going to save him from a head injury, if God forbid, we were in an accident,. so I knew we needed one asap. even tho he's only 22 pounds. he's tall, 30"... if you need it you need it. this is so much more padded and has more features than the baby basket style seat we've had since birth. it has shoulder straps, double headrest super cushy seat foam. it's excellent. thanks for putting such an awesome seat on sale like this for black Friday!!!! love that it was made in Indiana, America.
