Beautiful 6 Qt Programmable Slow Cooker, Cornflower Blue by Drew Barrymore

Aesthetically it's a beautiful crock pot. However, the ceramic insert isn't a perfect fit inside; furthermore, the lid is very loose and not snug at all. For simmering basic veggies for stew that's not a problem, but when it comes to making a meat dish that you want to roast in an air-tight pot so it can be tender and juicy, this misses the mark. I had to purchase separate silicone utility straps just to tighten the lid, and I don't like that I had to do that. Other than that issue, as I said, it's a beautiful looking piece of cookware, just not designed well. I will be purchasing other pieces from this collection, to match this crock-pot, and I am hopeful that the designs won't be flawed.

The floral design looks lovely, but the display is probably the worst I've ever seen. I'm not even sure how this left the design phase, much less made it through production and out onto shelves. You cannot read the numbers. At all. Every segment is lit up. I attached a picture. What time does it say? 8:80? And when I change the mode to a lower setting, it also says 8:80. IT DOESN'T SAY ANYTHING OTHER THAN 8:80. Did you expect to see something like 3:00? Or maybe 4:00? Too bad. It says 8:80 and you'll have to just guess at what time you've actually set the crockpot for. Could be 8 hours, could be 3, you're not gonna find out until you cut into your raw or overcooked chicken breasts. Absolutely ashamed of Drew Barrymore putting her name on something this poorly designed.
