Great for slow cooking and keeping food warm.

I like that it's the only 8 quart slow cooker I've seen. The bigger the better. It has 4 easy modes of operation, OFF, LOW, HIGH, and WARM. You can let it sit for hours on warm without worrying about it. Biggest danger is don't pour cold water into it when it's empty and has been on high. It will experience thermal shock and crack. Then it's ruined.

Why returning this.

I haven't opened the package because I am returning it, however I know I would have loved it. The reason I purchased it is that I couldn't fine the lid to my crock pot so I needed a new one. Then after it was ordered, I found the lid so I am returning it, unopened to the store today. Thank you, Pamela Marsh
