Beautiful 6 Qt Programmable Slow Cooker, Wildflower Porcini Taupe by Drew Barrymore

This slow cooker is beautiful and functional. My only complaint is the touch screen doesn't always register my touch, and it can take longer to get programing right. But overall, I am happy with my purchase. Oh, and the lid holder is an added feature I didn't know I needed!

Aesthetically it's a beautiful crock pot. However, the ceramic insert isn't a perfect fit inside; furthermore, the lid is very loose and not snug at all. For simmering basic veggies for stew that's not a problem, but when it comes to making a meat dish that you want to roast in an air-tight pot so it can be tender and juicy, this misses the mark. I had to purchase separate silicone utility straps just to tighten the lid, and I don't like that I had to do that. Other than that issue, as I said, it's a beautiful looking piece of cookware, just not designed well. I will be purchasing other pieces from this collection, to match this crock-pot, and I am hopeful that the designs won't be flawed.
