I was torn between this tlc air conditioner or the media brand Walmart sells I read sooooooooo many reviews and came to the conclusion that the tlc works way better in cooling and made better than the media brand so I'm so glad I went with the tlc it is well made the cooling is great and very easy to install and put together. I got a 6,000 btus and it cools my entire downstairs very well where before I've needed at least 12,000 btus so it's a good air conditioner for the price as well

Powerful little window unit!!!

This little bitty air conditioner puts out so much cold air! My mother lives in a 1918 built farmhouse that does not have central air. I put this in her dining room and it cools the entire back half of the house! The only weird thing when we first installed it was that, the air coming out of it smelled like fish for about two hours. It was very offputting, but once it went away, everything was perfect.
