I cannot comment on longevity. My main reason for getting this particular model was the seer rating. I was looking for a 5000 btu until that used less watts than most, which is usually 450 . I ran this one for one hour. The starting temperatures were in the 90's. The max watts in that hour was 390. I was running on smaller inverter generator at exactly 120 volts.

Best air con out there!

This air conditioner is perfect. I didn't have any problems with installation. It was a pretty easy fit from the box to the window. It gets the room cold pretty quickly. The best little air conditioner I have ever had.

Super simple setup, and nice cold air

This high efficiency window AC is really nice. The system itself is compact, and easy to use in different locations depending on your needs. The unit does have some weight to it but not too heavy. The controls are easy to understand and I was able to set it up and use it very quickly. The system is quiet, sounds just like a regular house fan and it got cold immediately. The two speeds for fan and AC are really efficient, and it circulated air so well you could feel it across the room. If you need an AC this is the one.
