Well worth the money

Good price for what we needed. Easy enough to install. Bought a bracket but did not need it; used the iron bar suggestion on YouTube, and it worked great. Not as quiet as I had thought, but quieter than other window AC units I have used in the past. Nice slim configuration, and the remote is a big plus.

Energy Star rating is huge

TCL is the only brand that makes an Energy Star rated 5000 BTU AC. This and the knob-controlled variant appear to be the only widely-sold models currently. Unless you're able to find crazy deal on another unit, this one is a no brainer.
