Great little AC!

This was a life saver! I'm pregnant and we ended up having three days of 90 degree weather in NY and naturally, our AC died. I ordered this and it was at our house in an hour. Works great to cool off the main portion of our house with no issue. I will say that if you don't have gutters or water will drip into it, it will make a loud noise until it gets all the water out of it. We had to install something over the unit to prevent that from happening.

Purchased one of these for a family member living in an apartment whose central A/C system went out and management repeatedly pushed back the estimated repair date for months. At a great rollback price, it was off to the races. Paid for installation, which is a nice add-in service offered through Walmart's website. The family member lives in a small 550 sqft. apartment in North Texas. With July temperatures now in the 100 degree range, she reports the unit is working fantastically. Only needs to set it to 5 on the coolness scale.

Cools great for a small space!

Some reviews mention it doesn't cool well but I have had the opposite experience. I have a small bedroom (8x12) and it cools so well I cannot keep it on high or it's too cold! Great for a small space. If your space is bigger than the recommendations for a 5,000 BTU unit, definitely get something bigger!
