Installing a spring door closer is pretty straightforward. Start by reading the instructions that come with your product. Typically, you'll need to:

1. Mark the mounting points on your door and frame.
2. Use a drill to attach the brackets securely.
3. Connect the spring mechanism as directed.
4. Adjust the tension if your model allows.

Make sure the door opens and closes smoothly. If you're unsure, consider asking a professional for help. Always use the right tools and follow safety guidelines during installation.

Yes, many spring door closers are designed for screen doors. Check the product details to make sure it's compatible with your door type and weight. Some models are adjustable for lighter doors, while others are made for heavier ones. If your screen door is particularly lightweight, look for a standard or light-duty spring closer. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for best results.

To adjust the tension on a door spring, locate the adjustment screw or mechanism on your spring closer.

• Turn the screw clockwise to increase tension (for a faster close).
• Turn it counterclockwise to decrease tension (for a slower close).
