• Fresh fruits like grapes, melons, and berries

• Cold pasta salads or potato salad
• Chilled desserts such as pudding or ice cream

Cold serving trays are designed with built-in ice chambers or compartments for ice packs. Here’s how they help:

• The ice or ice packs are placed underneath or around the food compartments, keeping the temperature low.
• This setup slows down the growth of bacteria, helping maintain food quality.
• Lids or covers add an extra layer of protection, keeping food cool and preventing contamination.

For best results, pre-chill the tray and refill ice as needed during longer gatherings.

• Salads and fresh vegetables
• Cold cuts and cheeses
• Seafood like shrimp or smoked salmon
• Chilled dips and spreads
• Fruit platters and cold desserts

Cold serving trays are essential for these setups, helping keep everything at a safe and appetizing temperature for guests.

Yes, cold serving trays are great for outdoor events like picnics or barbecues. Here’s what to keep in mind:

• Choose trays with secure lids to protect food from insects and debris.
• Use plenty of ice or ice packs to maintain a cool temperature, especially in warm weather.
• Keep trays in shaded areas whenever possible to help the ice last longer.

These steps can help your food stay fresh and enjoyable, even outside.

Cleaning a chilled serving tray is simple:

1. Remove any leftover food and discard melted ice.
2. Wash all parts with warm, soapy water. Most trays have removable compartments for easy cleaning.
3. Rinse thoroughly and let everything air dry before storing.

Always check the manufacturer's instructions for dishwasher compatibility, as some trays or lids may need to be hand washed to maintain their quality.
