Seller/Amcrest help was useless for support. They only said what procedure is documented to work but had no explanation for it not working.

So ive had a couple of these, nvr and cameras, and this one is quite good, a cut above. It has the video rated hard drive. Video rated means it is designed to last while continuously recording, normal hard drives do some work, then rest. The user interface is straightforward. You do need Cat 53 or cat 6 wiring to support it.

Worked well with Blue Iris software and with my NVR system, has ptz and night vision however, I had to reuse my old adjustable tripod wedge plate from my old amcrest to give me the angle I required. Nice product.

Everything has gone well for now. I'm still trying to connect to Blue Iris.

This is my second camera of this model. It is very small and sleek and I like that I can move it around my house easily if I want to pay more attention to my pets or if I have more activity going on I want to watch. Since it is my second one I already had the app and I had it up and going in less than 2 minutes. Seamless connection to my phone and very easy overall. If you need an easy wireless camera to set on a desk to counter this is a great option. The only drawback is that you either have to pay the cloud subscription to get the playback or pay and install an SD card. Which is what I did with my first one and will do with this one.

The product is what I expected and installed easily, perhaps the fastest install of any like device.. The vendor communications were solid and the documentation was good. The window camera idea is perfect, and the app is easy to use with the exception of the timeline scrub feature. I would buy it again.
