Amcrest Link 3MP 2K Window Camera, 2.4GHz&5GHz WiFi Indoor Camera, AI Human & Motion Detection, Wide Angle 100° FOV, Night Vision, 2-Way Audio, Wired Power, Supports MicroSD upto 128GB, AL-W301W

10 out of 10 would buy it again. I shared a photo of my backyard at midnight and the video is so crystal clear. Probably better than my Google products. Even inside my house secured to the window it's still crystal clear. I do wish it came with storage but I understand for the cost you can't have everything. It does have alarms, two way communications and you can adjust the quality from the app with ease. I 100% recommend the camera setup.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly indoor Wi-Fi camera that sticks to a window and does basic smart monitoring, this is a pretty decent choice. It ticks many of the boxes most people want: decent resolution, two-way audio, AI human detection, and your choice of local storage without subscription fees. Simple, Flexible Installation The “window sticker” form factor is a neat idea, it mounts quickly to any glass surface using included Velcro templates, so you can position it facing out a window or just stuck up in your living room. I have it on my Fish Tank. Solid Image Quality for the Price With a 3 MP sensor and 2 K video, you'll get sharper, more detailed footage than basic 1080p models. For indoor surveillance or checking in on pets/kids, it looks plenty good. AI Human %26 Motion Detection This is one of the nicer features here, the camera uses onboard AI to detect humans and filter motion alerts so you're less likely to get random notifications from pets or shadows. It does this without needing a cloud subscription. Dual Band Wi-Fi Support for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi is a win, especially if your router is crowded or you need better throughput. Local Storage Built-In You can record to a MicroSD card up to 128 GB without paying for cloud storage, nice for keeping clips local and private. App and Setup Can Be Finicky The camera only works with the Amcrest LINK app, which some users find clunkier or less polished than other brands' apps. Setup uses Bluetooth first (not Wi-Fi) and can be a bit awkward if you're impatient or have connectivity quirks. Wi-Fi Stability Like a lot of home Wi-Fi cameras, keeping a stable connection through walls (especially glass) can be tricky if your router is far or has interference, expect occasional dropouts unless you tweak your placement or get an extender. Night Vision Isn't Cutting-Edge It does have night vision and decent low-light performance for the price, but if you're hoping for super clear footage in pitch black, you might find it softer or grainier than more expensive sensors deliver. Wired Power Only This camera isn't battery powered, so you need a power outlet nearby for a window, but less flexible if you wanted to hide cords or place it somewhere without easy access. My take on this... To be completely honest, for around $45–$55, the Amcrest Link 3MP Window Camera gives good value if you want simple indoor monitoring with clear video, AI human alerts, and local storage without ongoing fees. It's not the most polished experience in the security-cam world, and the app/connection aren't exactly best-in-class but for the price, it's practical, straightforward, and gets the job done.
