Historically this bread has been tasty with good texture and freshness remained for several days. This particular purchase was disappointing because it began to smell sour on day 2 and by day 3 noticed it had become moldy throughout the loaf. I'm in hopes this was an isolated incident. Calise bread and rolls have always been consistent with taste, texture, freshness and longevity (beyond 2 days).

calise breads have always been a good buy but use it soon because it tends to get mold sooner than other breads with all the preservatives in them
