They have a pretty strong smell when you unpackage them. I wiped them down to get the packing oil off them and then let them air out for a few days. All in all, they work as they should, the grip is comfortable and the rubber protects everything (including myself) from impact. I've had them for a month now and the smell is either gone, or I'm used to it. I'd buy them again, well worth it.

These are great quality with the rubber coating and included rack. I was looking for an affordable option to build out my home gym and these work perfectly. Great variety of weights as well. I bought a coupe pairs of the adjustable dumbells thinking it would make my life easier, but honestly, I had to come back because changing the settings between sets drove me nuts. Love this little set and it is perfect for me now!
