Don't bother with the app, plug the code reader in, write the codes down or take a picture with your phone. The app is a mess with its only purpose to collect personal information.

Pairing the tool with our companion app unlocks additional benefits, including access to detailed DTC Definitions, Fix for DTCs, Scheduled Maintenance, TSBs, Recalls, Repair Information and much more. However, the user can use this tool as a standalone device—just plug it into your vehicle to retrieve and clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and refer to the DTC definitions section of the Innova.com website.If you need assistance, feel free to call our tech support line at 833-908-2024. read a lot of bad reviews of people saying it didnt work, or would have error. I figured surely i was dmart enough to figure it how since hyper tough usually has decent products. i figured out how it worked, and why it gave error in about 5 minutes. You connect to it through the app on your phone, not through your phones bluetooth settings. also your car must be turned on and running, not off. diagnosed my problem and the codes easily in about 3 minutes. i think all the low ratings are from low iq people
