Excellent Tool For Your Toolbox

Before taking a car to a mechanic, I like to know what's wrong with a vehicle as much as I can and this OBD2 scanner is just the right unit. For minor repairs, an OBD2 scanner like this one is a great tool to assist with diagnostics and repair. This scanner from NEXPOW is an upgrade from my previous one which has very basic features. A couple of days ago, the check engine light on one of my vehicles went on. Armed with this scanner, I was able to read the code and had some idea of what could be wrong based on additional information I found online. Before taking the car to a mechanic, I had a general idea of the problem and the cost of parts and labor which was inline with what we were charged. It's comforting to know that a mechanic is not overcharging you or worse, charging for a problem that you don't have. If you're a DIY person and don't have an OBD2 scanner, this scanner from NEXPOW is an excellent addition to your toolbox.

I bought this to figure out what things were going wrong with my vehicle since it was shutting down randomly -- I couldn't easily take it to a mechanic, but was able to use these codes and help the mechanic have a better idea of what was wrong and we were able to get the parts ordered and get it fixed.
