Excellent Tool For Your Toolbox

Before taking a car to a mechanic, I like to know what's wrong with a vehicle as much as I can and this OBD2 scanner is just the right unit. For minor repairs, an OBD2 scanner like this one is a great tool to assist with diagnostics and repair. This scanner from NEXPOW is an upgrade from my previous one which has very basic features. A couple of days ago, the check engine light on one of my vehicles went on. Armed with this scanner, I was able to read the code and had some idea of what could be wrong based on additional information I found online. Before taking the car to a mechanic, I had a general idea of the problem and the cost of parts and labor which was inline with what we were charged. It's comforting to know that a mechanic is not overcharging you or worse, charging for a problem that you don't have. If you're a DIY person and don't have an OBD2 scanner, this scanner from NEXPOW is an excellent addition to your toolbox.

I bought this to figure out what things were going wrong with my vehicle since it was shutting down randomly -- I couldn't easily take it to a mechanic, but was able to use these codes and help the mechanic have a better idea of what was wrong and we were able to get the parts ordered and get it fixed. Have also used it on my mom's car and helped her figure out why her vehicle was shaking. Took some reading to learn how to use it, but overall an easy product for any person to use!
