This bed is beautiful and exceeded my expectations. I was leary of ordering my 10 month old, precious dachshund her first "Big Girl" bed on-line. But this has been a great spend. The orthopedic mattress is great quality. The cover is also a great quality and well sewn. My husband and I love the blue color for her. She's so black that the gorgeous blue colors really pop! Our baby is a mini-doxie, 13" long, and the large size bed is perfect! Thank you for the outstanding packing of the bed in two individual boxes!! That's customer service at its BEST!! ๐Ÿ‘ And we hardly EVER see that attention to details now!! I must say that it was interesting and fun to watch the bed grow to its shape over a 24 hr. period when unpacked! My husband didn't believe the bed would transform. He does now ๐Ÿ˜†. Sophie was excited when she took ownership of her new bed!! She now has room to put her favorite toys on one end, for safe keeping ๐Ÿคฃ, while she gets her nap ๐Ÿ˜ด in. I will say that I paid a sale price of $49.99 for this bed because I was skeptical of the quality, ordering online, you understand. This bed is an $80.00 bed when full price. In my opinion, it is well worth the price whether it is full price or on sale!! We've only had the bed for 4 days. I will happily return to this review and give an updated opinion at a later date TBD. But I do not anticipate any changes in my opinion. I will also add pictures of Sophie's new bed soon.

Not too firm just enough to elevate the weight. My dog is about 30 pounds. My dog likes to scratch her sleeping spot and spin before getting comfortable so I'm trusting the material will withstand her fluffing attempts.
