very soft outer and the cushion egg crate is very nice. I think my puppy will grow into this. I wish they offered them in blue but it’s a very nice bed.

This bed came in two cardboard boxes, a layer of packing styrofoam and vacuum sealed in a plastic bag. It was definitely packaged well. Once opened it has to sit 24-48 hours to fluff up. The cover, the pad that goes around the inside of the bed and the pad are all separate, so will need to be assembled. There are instructions and doesn’t seem to be too difficult to do. It’s a bit heavier than I expected, but I think my sheepadoodle is going to appreciate it once it fluffs up enough for her to enjoy.
