I purchased this dog bed so both my dog could fit in the bed without any overlapping. My Blue Tick Hound has long legs so he easily fills a large doggy bed. My little chiuaua mix insists on sharing the bed even if there is no room. I was hoping this bed would have enough room for both of them and I am very pleased to say it is fantastic. Super large, plenty of room and big thick orthopedic support cushion for my senior dogs. The bolsters are not too high and go all around the edges which my dogs love. I highly recommend this bed. I believe your dad would love this if you get it I got it and my dog love it. They got a couch a little couch. They got another little thing that's like a cow to get their own bed. List think they sleep in Tiny sleeping together but this one is big enough for two small dogs, maybe three and they love it. It's like they get their own little bit. I would recommend it 100%. wow, I said two, maybe three you can get four small dogs on there. I love that close of attention to it but both small dogs are squeeze in there. They want to be cuddle together.
