We had 5 family members and their dog stay for 3 nights. I volunteered to sleep on the first floor to let the dog out during the night. To do so I needed to purchase an air mattress. Having never slept on one before I was doubtful I would get a good night's rest. Much to my surprise the Beautyrest Extraordinaire was very comfortable and I slept just fine for all 3 nights. If you are in need of a comfortable air mattress I would definitely recommend the Beautyrest Extraordinaire. It was a little bit more money than a cheap one, but the quality and comfort are well worth it!

I'm honestly shocked at how great this mattress is. I had to throw away my last mattress mid-move due to bedbugs, and I didn't have the money to replace it with another 'regular' mattress. A month later, I have no intentions of going back to a regular bed. It's such a massive improvement over my firm memory foam mattress. I just really hope it lasts. Sitting down and doing the actual math on an air mattress versus a traditional mattress is where things get so silly - I could buy this same mattress twice a year, and still come out ahead financially compared to say a 1000 dollar mattress that lasts 5 years requiring a box spring and frame (which would contribute to additional costs and also are a pain in the butt to move). Obviously mattresses are supposed to last longer than 5 years, but let's be real, they never do.
