my 11 year old son and my idiot ex boyfriend put this together alone in under an hour. if they can do it, a monkey can do it. lol. and its sturdy. my 11 year old don't jump on the bed but he plops down all the time. its still holding up.

Love this bed

I just got the bed and I love it I'm a plus size woman and i most say this bed is very sturdy. It came with all the pieces and they were all in good condition. I put it together myself and it was very easy. I would recommend you use at least a 12' queen mattress if you don't plan on using a box spring which is not required anyway well worth the price.

Looks great in my guest bedroom. Always get so many complements. Some say you need a box spring. I found that if you order the biggest mattress in the box as in 12" to 13" then if fills up the space between the mattress and the backboard. This fixes the need for a box spring. They should explain that better.
