Easy to put together, sturdy and great material. The bed does not require a box spring BUTTT you might want to get a box spring if you dont want a big space between the mattress and headboard.

Very pleased with the overall quality/look of the bed. It's true to the photos and is a true light beige color (not yellow at all). The wooden slats seem sturdy enough for normal use and the bed was very easy to assemble.
