Best bang for buck

5 stars because of the price: $130. Oct 2025 money. A big name brand bike will run you $600 So when I purchased this, it was with the expectation that I'd have to return it within a month for falling apart. All my rankings are based on how close to a premium bike it feels vs how I'd expect bargain-basement to be. I expected 2 out of 5 stars in every category, but was pleasantly surprised. The things that were as expected weren't deal breakers for me. Durability: 5 out of 2 so far. I weigh 235 lbs, and it's not bothered by that. Walls of the steel frame look pretty thick. Stability: 5 out of 2 stars. Only the slightest of unavoidable wobble if you torque the rear handle bars. Comfort: 3 out of 2. The seat tilts a little back if the pedal height is set closer to the ground. To prevent chafing, I had to set the pedal height so high that it's difficult to get into the seat. Outside that, it's fine now. The seat padding is okay. Being able to lean back on the back rest is very nice. Very happy that I can pedal comfortably barefoot. Quiet operation: 5 out of 2. I can only imagine a $2,000 bike being any more quiet. Weight: They claim 18.5 lbs. Hard to believe. This thing weighs a ton. Impossible to carry up stairs without help unless you're already an athlete. Don't know how they'd reduce the weight without compromising durability, so I give this a pass. English Instruction Book: 3 out of 2. One of the pictures is wrong, and good luck figuring out how to use the display from the wording. Assembly: 4 out of 2. I was very pleased that the bolts are arranged by the steps in the instruction book. 2 tools included. And there is a QR code for a marginally helpful assembly video. Easy to get the wheels of the front floor bar backwards, but the rest is near idiot-proof. 2 bolts would not line up for connecting the backrest to the seat. Bestvp customer service suggested smacking them in place with a hammer. Stripped the threads, but the nuts went on anyway! Go fig. Resistance control: 2 stars. Here's my impression of each setting on a scale of 1 to 10. Setting 1 and 2 = 0 resistance, 3 through 6 = 0.1, 7 = 5, 8 = 9, 9 = 21, 10 = 42. I kid you not. This is not 10 resistance settings. It is only 3ish. 10 is so extreme you may as well be climbing stairs with a fridge. Doubt I'll ever be able to go above 8 for more than a few seconds. Display: 2 stars. DO NOT TRUST the ad images. They slapped a tablet on top of the display, and that's deceptive. The real display is a cheap wrist watch. Take a look at the 360° view. Questionably accurate pulse meter requires touching both front bars. Calories burned? Yeah right. Made up numbers. Fun to imagine I burn 30 cals in 5 minutes of pedaling. 3 button control about what I'd expect. Arm bands: 2 stars. Probably 3 lbs of resistance. No tension control. Folding: 3 stars. It works, but you have to unscrew the pedal height knob and not lose it.

Perfect for what I need.

Assembly was ok. Pay attention the the numbers of each item when assembling the bike. Other than that it was fairly straightforward. It does not take up much room. I have it in my living room so I can cycle while watching TV. It is perfect for what I need.

Worth it

So far I’ve only had the bike for 2 days so if anything changes I’ll update these details. The bike is solid and good quality which I was pleasantly surprised considering the price I was a little nervous of what I would receive. The directions to put it together were easy to understand. The bike reads your pulse, speed, distance, and has a timer which if you take a break it automatically shuts off and then begins where you left off again until you reset it. The pull handles are a nice addition. Also it has resistance levels to choose from it goes up to 8 I’ve been keeping it at 5 which is enough resistance to give me a good workout. You can adjust seat height. So far so good I am very happy as of right now and I searched thru tons of reviews to find a low price high quality bike so figure I’d leave a review to help someone else decide. This is definitely worth the price.
