Garmin Forerunner 55, GPS Running Watch with Daily Suggested Workouts, Up to 2 weeks of Battery Life, White

I ordered this a couple weeks ago. I had the forerunner 35 and really liked it, but it died, so I ordered this one and I like it. It took me little while to figure out the buttons, but now I am good to go. I am an older lady, but I am active. I walk and ride a bike and I like to keep track of how far I go, and the number of steps I take a day.

I'm an amateur photographer. I bought this watch for the GPS assistance feature. My husband was concerned about me going out on a trails by myself. I very much appreciate the simplicity of the watch, the long battery life, and the suite of options in the watch. Many fitness wearables are designed as if all users are fitness enthusiasts and can quickly wear on the esteem of a less active user. Use of this watch has seen an increase in daily steps, a reduction in my daily stress, and improvement in my sleep quality. All without my being a fitness enthusiast. That said, with VO2 max reporting and the features available to track and compare activities across time as well as to compete with friends; I would feel great gifting this watch to enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike.
