Excellent features, value for money Garmin

Brought for my wife - we have become a Garmin family now. Tata Apple. I have the Forerunner 965 for more higher intensity workouts, more of an athlete than my wife, but the Vivoactive is no poor cousin either - looks really good, has almost the same features and is smaller in size (fits my wife's wrists). Overall a solid buy

Excellent value and functionality

I've been using Fitbits for years, but when my last one died I decided to get a Garmin. I'm glad I did. It tracks more, with more detail, than my Fitbits did, and (for me at least) the interface was more intuitive despite being more complex. And the phone app works great. I only have a handful of quibbles, none of which were worth docking it a star: (1) The fitness bike integration doesn't work with my Horizon bike (not sure whether to fault Garmin or Horizon for that one). (2) Some of the stats (such as pace during walks/runs) are delayed, so if I start walking faster it will take a few seconds for the watch to show a quicker pace. (3) The available exercises for logging strength training don't include some that I do regularly (such as single-leg leg press, single-leg leg extensions, and heel taps), but I can't fault them for not having exercises that are primary for physical therapy. Those were more than offset by things I hadn't even realized it could do when I bought it: - MyFitnessPal integration for food logging - Stopwatch and timer in the watch (I use the timer for PT stretching) - Screen lock (for sleeping) - Stress and "body battery" tracking (which are pretty decently accurate in my estimation) - VO2 Max estimation - Fitness scale integration (planning to buy a Garmin scale soon) And it's great having GPS on the watch itself, so I don't have to haul my phone along for exercise walks.

It's a great fitness watch for tracking and monitoring your health while being on a budget. I got mine for $170 in the battery life on it is amazing. I go about a week before I have to charge it again so it's definitely worth it for the money and the battery life as as well as having clear statistics in helping your health.
