It was the perfect edition for me and my 5 yr old. He's constantly thirsty and likes ice in his juice and water. I always forget to refill the ice trays. You go to make a drink and you realize there is no ice, then you find yourself going to the store buying bags of ice. I am a licensed bartender who happens to own a bartending business. I like to make new drinks at home and entertain my company. Finding out you forgot to refill the ice trays and the drink needs to be shaken in your shaker is no fun!

It lets you know when it needs water and it lets you know when the ice basket is full. It also gives you simple instructions for cleaning once you put the cleaning solution in, it does the rest. Believe it or not this ice maker is nugget ice and it wasn't that expensive. It also makes ice fast. The family loves it. Best purchase!💗

Its easy for her to use, though a little too heavy for her to move around. The noise level isnt as bad as other reviewers made me think it would be, but it isnt quiet either. Its takes up about the same space on the counter as a coffee maker. Its perfect for anyone who likes to crunch on ice.
