This product weighs about 20+ pounds without dirt, plants and water. It comes with a riser, base, insert, and self watering tray. It comes with brackets and screws to attach to your window, deck or balcony. The instructions are just pictures, but do a good job of showing you how to assemble. The planter is heavy plastic that is fade resistant and guaranteed for 5 years. It is made for year round temperatures so it is not necessary to take down in the winter. You will need a Phillipps screwdriver, adjustable wrench and a soft working surface so you do not scratch the plastic when putting together.

We are over the top impressed with the Veradek Brixton Window Box Planter. The 36 inch planter is large and heavy. Much heavier than we expected however the weight adds to the sturdiness. It's extremely well made with a built in drainage system. The included brackets make it perfect for attaching to the house below windows or on deck railings.
